Us
Rosehill
is an imposing Grade II listed country house, located
in the beautiful East Devon countryside.
Owned
by Sandra and Peter Taylor, Rosehill provides a wonderfully
relaxing haven for guests to enjoy, allowing you to
unwind and rejuvenate away from the stresses of daily
life.
Rosehill was originally a thatched cottage and was
extended and transformed in 1830 - various additional
extensions have been added since then, and Rosehill
features some beautiful Victorian elements such as
the main staircase and the verandah and sun terrace.
Four guest rooms have been upgraded to include en
suite or private bathrooms, and the bedrooms are all
large and airy and most have lovely sun filled windows
with views over the garden which is dominated by a
giant monkey puzzle tree.
In
addition to the beautiful bedrooms there is a large
dining room and a guest lounge which looks along the
veranda and onto the garden. To one side of the house
is a delightful ornamental pond and a large sheltered
paved sun terrace, to spend happy hours relaxing and
enjoying the peace that is Rosehill.
We
have a superb relaxation centre which contains a sauna,
a steam room, a therapy suite and a unique sandstone
grotto containing a flotation pool, which is just heaven
to relax in and float away the stresses of everyday
life. In this area we also have our own Alternative
Health Clinic.
